After years running a successful health & wellness practice and assisting my husband in our family business, I was ready to embark on a new journey. In 2024, I was inspired to make a nappy bag for a friend and the next moment I knew, I was at my first local market. With just a few weeks to prepare, I poured my love of making into creating a few different style bags, and had a fabulous response to my shopper!
That experience sparked the beginning of 4 Cats. Since then, I’ve created so many different and unique style bags, met amazing people and pushed my boundaries to expand my world even wider. I’m creating new designs, currently working on my website (work in progress), and active on Facebook. I’m learning every day with new sewing techniques, how to incorporate different fabrics into the designs and how to make photos look so much better.
Making custom bags has become a joyful and rewarding outlet that keeps me energized and creative. Every 4 Cats piece is handcrafted by me in my dedicated space in our beautiful home in Pennington, KwaZulu Natal, where I live with my husband, 3 dogs, and 5 cats.
